Lisbon, in January
Eight days of low winter light, walking from Alfama to Belém and back.
Lisbon in January is mostly empty of tourists, which is the only condition under which it shows itself honestly. The light is low all day and the city wears its tile and limestone in muted tones.
These were made on a single 35mm lens, walked slowly.
